Hereby, we would like to inform our dear guests that our Forest Cottage in Szaplányos is not available now – neither as an accommodation facility, nor as a place for organizing any events – because of technical reasons.

Our guest house provides you the right possibility to relax in the neighbourhood of the fishponds in Miklósfa, in a silent and peaceful environment. The accommodation facility is situated only 10 kilometres from Nagykanizsa, in the southern direction from Miklósfa, between the settlements of Bajcsa and Liszó, and it can be accessed easily on public roads. Both the closeness of the fishponds and the rich bird world emanate harmony, a real peace and quiet; it is always a good choice for those who would like to rest in each season. You can organise family, friend or even any company parties in the forest house, without disturbing others.

The building renovated in 2016 is appropriate for accommodating two people; in case of any events the dining-room can be used as a bedroom, providing accommodation for 16 people. There are a double-room, a well-equipped kitchen, a dining-room, a bathroom with a shower and a roofed terrace in the small house, providing comfort for the guests.
There is an open-air fireplace for roasting bacon and a disc-shooting-track in the landscaped garden, which is open to everyone who is interested. Due to the closeness of the lakes you can often glance at a white-tailed eagle, a grey heron or a great egret.
